Abstract
This research is entitled THE EFFECT OF ADEQUACY RATIO CAPITAL ON THE IMPROVEMENT OF BUSINESS LOAN PERFORMANCE (Case Study in the Savings and Loan Unit of the RW 05 Bukit Ligar Bandung Cooperative). This study intends to answer the problem: how is the development of capital adequacy ratio over the past 5 years, how is the level of business performance achieved by savings and loan business, what factors influence the performance of savings and loan business, how far is the effect of capital adequacy ratio on the performance of savings and loan business, how direct and indirect economic benefits received by members. Data collection methods used in this study are case studies with direct observation. With the data source of the informant, namely the Supervisor of KSU RW 05 Bukit Ligar, Respondents are the Management and Employees of KSU RW 05 Bukit Ligar and Library Studies, namely the RAT Report of KSU RW 05 Bukit Ligar. Based on the research it can be seen that regarding the relationship between capital adequacy ratio to business performance can be concluded that between capital adequacy ratio and business performance has a weak relationship, it means that in this study can be said that there are other influences that affect business performance in addition to the influence of capital adequacy ratio. And for the cooperative business performance, there are still things that need to be improved, including aspects of 1. Aspects of Earning Assets Quality,and 2. Liquidity Aspects. Suggestions from researchers for the problems faced by USP Cooperative RW 05 Bukit Ligar, namely: 1. Reduce or eliminate the existence of problem loans. 2. Cooperatives must be able to manage costs as efficiently as possible and reduce excess capital loans. 3. Fixing direct benefits and indirect benefits received by members.
