Abstract
This activity is the result of a roomy practice conducted in the consumer cooperative of the University of Gadjah Mada University with the intention to increase the participation of members towards UGM Student cooperatives. The method carried out in this improvement is by using descriptive methods and direct observation in the consumer cooperative of UGM Students in terms of data collection and information that will later be used as a material in increasing member participation in KOPMA UGM. The substance of the material delivered includes the development of cooperative business, the management of cooperative business, and cooperative membership data. This activity is also a real work of students of the University of Koperasi Indonesia in terms of airy practice which of course with the direction of lecturers. Then the process of practice and discussion from students to the managers, members, and employees of KOPMA UGM Cooperative, which will later be used as a material to apply in the increase of cooperative members participation. This activity can also run well and smoothly according to the direction and planning that has been made and agreed. Student Consumer Cooperative Universitas Gadjah Mada has the opportunity and potential to increase its members participation by doing effectiveness, empowerment, supervision and training against members, as well as in terms of increasing the cooperative business itself. There are also some things that must be fixed and brave to be able to make increased participation of its own members and improvements to the development of cooperative business in order to run better.
