Abstract

BMT or Baitul Maal wa Tamwilis one type of cooperative that runs on sharia principles. The sharia principle in question is Islamic sharia, in which the cooperative business it runs is based on Islamic sources, namely the Qur'an and Hadith. The cooperative business entity is in great demand by many people in Indonesia, including ordinary people who do not have an Islamic educational background. One of them is BMT Agawe Makmur in Sleman Regency, DI Yogyakarta, where many of the managers, consisting of administrators and employees, have non-Islamic religious education backgrounds. To provide provisions for understanding the Islamic religion, regular and periodic educational activities are needed. One thing that needs attention is the understanding that work is an activity muamalah which seems unrelated to worship. For this reason, at BMT Agawe Makmur, it is necessary to hold a deepening of religious understanding related to practice muamalah is worship, so that deep worship motivation is obtained for administrators and employees in carrying out their work as activities that not only earn income from their business but also get abundant rewards from Allah SWT. This understanding deepening activity is necessary with the process of learning activities where there must be presenters, delivery materials and participants. So that the classical method can be run as a process. And for the implementation of these activities it is necessary to involve many parties so it is necessary to form a small committee to plan and prepare everything. From these activities it is hoped that the motivation of the management and employees of BMT Agawe Makmur will increase which is manifested in the performance expected of the organization in general and the leadership in particular.
