Abstract
One of economic institution which can be developed by non-formal education sector is cooperative. Of the total number of 24877 cooperatives in West Java, 45.5% are not active, healthy cooperative, only 22.22%. Women Cooperative (Kopwan) has the potential to be developed, but progress has been slow. Of the 476 Kopwan in Jabar, 30 inactive cooperatives, 130 other cooperatives, stagnant condition. Various education and training has been conducted, but the results are far from satisfactory. Therefore, research on Development Strategy of Women Cooperative through Education and Training bye the Institution for Cooperative Educational (Lapenkop). From the results of this study concluded that the strategy can be done by Lapenkop namely: 1) The development strategy of Lapenkop, consists of 7 strategies (Cooperation with other countries, to optimize the performance of the guide, cooperation with cooperative institutions either as an institution built and sources of funding, incerasing number.
